EEDA Guidelines

  • All sites will open at 6pm. No camping before this time unless otherwise informed.
  • A fire bucket must be available outside each unit. Those campers who use generators must have an appropriate fire extinguisher as well.
  • The speed limit on the site shall not exceed 5mph.
  • All units must be pitched no less than 6 metres (20 feet) apart except when a pup tent is part of the family unit.
  • All chemical waste is to be taken home, unless an elsan point is available.
  • Only waste water is to be tipped into the hedges of fields.
  • All rubbish is to be taken home.
  • Dogs are permitted on most sites but must be kept on a lead at all times. Leads must not be extended beyond the six foot limit.
  • Dogs should be exercised off site.
  • Radios and TVs must be kept at a reasonable level at all times.
  • There must be no noise between 11pm and 7am.
  • Only the steward or their deputy is to approach the landowner on camping matters.
  • The steward is in charge of the meet. Any queries or complaints must be handled by the steward.
  • Toilets are not to be taken to any drinking water tap.
  • The DA shall not be responsible for any extra charges that may be made for fishing, boating or swimming etc.
  • Generators may only be used with the consent of the meet steward who will give any instruction as may be required at the time.
  • No cycles to be ridden near any camping unit.
  • Ball games on site only with the stewards permission.
